Weir Estate Residents Association are pleased to announce that work will shortly be starting on external cleaning of brickwork and repainting of the painted areas of Anfield Close. The works are being funded by Weir Estate Residents Association, and permission has been granted by Lambeth Living. Letters were hand delivered to all Anfield Close residents
The Weir Community Garden was officially declared open on Saturday, 7th July 2012, by Valerie Shawcross, London Assembly Member for Lambeth and Southwark. The garden project was launched to regenerate a disused area on Anfield Close, which had fallen into disrepair, and replace this with a sensory garden and food growing project. During the process,

The Pram Chorus has kindly offered to hold a fund raising event on behalf of The Weir Link at Pizza Express, Balham on Thursday 5th July from 5 – 7pm. Tickets / reservations cost £5.00 in advance or £7.00 at the door kids can attend for free. Ticket holders will get 20% off their food bill.
