Work to re-decorate Anfield Close was recently completed by Bespoke Liberty Property Maintenance Services.
The work started on 6th August, and took around 6 weeks to complete, with jet cleaning of the whole block, and re-painting of painted surfaces.
The works were funded by Weir Estate Residents Association, to bring the whole estate up to scratch, following the window replacement programme to all other blocks back in 2010.
Many residents have praised the contractor for the efficient work with no upheaval, and commented on how nice the block looks now. Dave McEvoy, WERA Chair said “We are pleased that these long awaited improvements have now taken place, and the blocks are all looking fantastic, and we are grateful Bespoke Liberty completing the works, very well done to them. We now want to invite the Senior Management from Lambeth Living to come down and have a look at the improvements we have done to the estate”
WERA also worked with Bespoke Liberty to replace the estate block signs with new colour coded signs, which match the colours on the recent signage Lambeth Living implemented recently.
James Steele, from Bespoke Liberty said “Bespoke-Liberty have found the whole process from quotation to completion an effortless process due to the dedication and whole hearted commitment to detail from Dave and his team. We have not had any issues in the day to day running of the works and have found all residents a pleasure to work for. The estate blocks are also looking brighter with the inclusion of new block name signage. You should all be very proud of this estate and would welcome the chance to help keep it this way.”
The old estate signage did not reflect the many developments which have taken place over the years, such as Lambeth Living now being our housing provider, and Weir Estate Residents Association’s presence on the estate. The new signage has been designed to be bright, easy to read, with each block being given a colour code which matches to the maps. The estate also now has WERA branded notice boards located around the estate, and at block entrances.
Tony and Gary from Bespoke Liberty also commented “We are very pleased to have had the opportunity to work in such a wonderful environment with very friendly people. Throughout the process of the works, the residents have been very kind and more than helpful in allowing us to bring up the standard of the property to match the pleasant nature of its occupants. We look forward to hopefully working with you again in the future.”
