Libraries and Archives

There are ten libraries within the Borough of Lambeth, with nine of these being operated by Lambeth Council, and the other one, Upper Norwood Joint Library, being an independent library. The council also operate a Mobile Library, further details of which can be found here.

The nearest stops to Weir Estate for the mobile library are:

Monday –  1.30 to 2.10pm, Radbourne Road (Asquith Nursery)

Wednesday – 1.15 to 2pm, Molly Huggins Close

Friday – 11am to 12noon, St Stephens Church, Weir Road.

Durning Library (Close to Kennington Tube Station)

Minet Library (Knatchbull Road, near Myatts Fields Park)

South Lambeth Library (between Stockwell and Kennington)

Streatham Library (Heart of Town Centre)

Waterloo Library (Lower Marsh)
West Norwood Library (Next to the Cemetery)

Upper Norwood Joint Library

Lambeth Council also operate the Lambeth Archives.
