Libraries and Archives

There are ten libraries within the Borough of Lambeth, with nine of these being operated by Lambeth Council, and the other one, Upper Norwood Joint Library, being an independent library.

The libraries within the borough are:

Brixton Library (next to the Ritzy Cinema)
Carnegie Library (Close to Denmark Hill & Herne Hill)
Clapham Library (Mary Seacole Centre, Clapham High Street)
Durning Library (Close to Kennington Tube Station)

Minet Library (Knatchbull Road, near Myatts Fields Park)

South Lambeth Library (between Stockwell and Kennington)

Streatham Library (Heart of Town Centre)

Waterloo Library (Lower Marsh)
West Norwood Library (Next to the Cemetery)

Upper Norwood Joint Library

Lambeth Council also operate the Lambeth Archives.
