WEST END LIGHTS 2021
West End Lights has unfortunately had to be cancelled this year. Unfortunately, Lincoln West End Lights cannot take place in its usual shape and form this time, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Lincoln currently being in Tier 4 of government restrictions. An event that lives from people coming together to marvel at the illuminated west end this one night of the year simply is too risky to take place in the current situation. We were blown away by the many registrations we had received and it truly is a shame that WEL 2020 cannot take place as planned. Despite rescheduling WEL 2020 from December 2020 to January 2021 the pandemic is still heavily upon us, and it would not be responsible to go ahead. We don’t want to keep our illuminators in limbo (waiting for a likely cancellation at very short notice), and certainly do not want to increase any health risks to our community’s health.
West End Lights has been running for 10 years to bring a little light into everyone’s lives, lighting up their windows, houses, yards and even camper vans for others to enjoy.
Anyone can take part, either by becoming an illuminator yourself of by having a wander round the West End on the night.
If you do wish to be involved we would love to know so that we can add your house to the map, contact the West End Lights Organising Group using the link https://www.lincoln-west-end-lights.com/
